We specialize in Boutique Ceremonies only, from our grand and opulent ‘Lanai Pavilion’ to our romantic ‘Garden Pavilion’ or intimate ‘Elopement Package’.
Lanai Pavilion
Our ‘Lanai Pavilion’ is a completely unique space. It is an undercover option that can be completely open and overlooking our lush and tropical pool grounds or completely closed off for total privacy, which can comfortably hold up to 85 people standing.
Garden Pavilion
The Garden Pavilion is a romantic and intimate setting, also overlooking our sparkling pools from one aspect and to a garden on the other. The Garden Pavilion can be utilized for a very small,intimate wedding or up to 25 standing on our lawn.

This exclusive comprehensive package ensures your day is stress-free, allowing you the time to enjoy a quiet, intimate and enchanting ceremony you will always cherish. Available exclusively for a maximum 12 guests.
Luxury Honeymoon
Following your wedding ceremony,lazy honeymoon days can be spent by the pool intertwined with blissful soothing massage treatments at Spa Santai. You can find beauty and serenity at one of our many pristine and unspoiled local beaches. You can paddle a twin kayak through the aquamarine waters of our local creeks or share an adventurous and invigorating outing to Mount Warning. Most, just linger at Santai Retreat to indulge in the peaceful luxury of your beautifully appointed apartment and lush tropical grounds.

Does your venue cater for Reception as well ?
At Santai Retreat we specialise in Ceremonies only. There are a number of local restaurants to cater for every taste and budget which can facilitate your wedding reception and we can recommend local options to transport any number of guests to any wedding reception venue.
How many guests can I hold for my Ceremony at your location ?

We specialise in Boutique Ceremonies only, from our grand and opulent 'Lanai Pavilion' up to 85 guests to our romantic 'Garden Pavilion' up to 25 guests or intimate 'Elopement Package' exclusively for up to 12 guests.
Is there accommodation on site ?
Yes there is. Santai Retreat is Balinese theme inspired featuring over 100 beautifully appointed spacious self contained apartments, a stunning pool which covers the length of the resort inclusive of statues, water features and lounge recliners, a day spa with a full range of services, and quiet secluded spaces for relaxing and socialising. Featuring beautiful architecture and timeless décor, everything about Santai Retreat invites guests in. With a business that boasts a distinguished reputation for service and quality – this service shines through with the hospitality. The hotel rooms for guests to relax in are luxuriously larger than most, with ample space to unwind and deep spa bathtubs in each room.

We are very close to the beach, about 280 meters which is a 3 minute walk.

Also, what is the normal deposit amount? Because one venue said 50% to secure the date but that seems large..
Is it a risk having a slightly outdoor wedding in August? Is it too cold?
My partner and I have finally decided on a venue and we are both in love with it - however it has an open area where the reception dinner is - it has a roof but has open walls. The venue supply mushroom heaters but i'm getting concerned that it will be too cold for guests. Does anyone have any experience in this? Thank you!

Average maximum temperatures in the winter months (June- August) are around 16°C
Hopefully your guests will feel warm enough with the love atmosphere @ your wedding, although a nice idea is to have scatter candles everywhere :):):)
Will venues generally allow you to take pictures before the ceremony?
I want to do a photo shoot before my wedding in our set-up reception venue, is that too much to ask? Or is that a common thing...?

Some venues may ask for a photo shoot fee - as usually, they would need to allocate a team member to oversee your production and make sure no other guests uses the area you intend to have your shoot :)
