Hinterland House is a beautifully restored 1906 mansion hidden just one minute from Bangalow and 10 minutes from Byron Bay.
This stunning heritage listed homestead offers uninterrupted hinterland views and is open for weddings and elopements of up to 150 guests. Nestled amongst a 20-acre macadamia plantation the homestead boasts vine-covered walls, handcrafted stone masonry, grand french chandeliers, leadlight windows and large wrap around verandahs, creating the ultimate romantic backdrop for your celebration.
Guests are greeted by a winding palm tree-lined driveway as they make their way up to the hilltop wedding venue. The picturesque property offers a variety of ceremony locations and lush manicured lawns for outdoor receptions.
Those looking for onsite accommodation can choose to stay in the sprawling homestead and its two adjoining cottages. Hinterland House can sleep up to 16 guests with a total of eight bedrooms, four bathrooms and two fully equipped kitchens spread across the home. The venue is also home to soaring 16ft ceilings, a 14m swimming pool, fire pit, and BBQ facilities.
