What rooms/spaces do we have available for a wedding?

Fins at Plantation House is a ‘one stop’ ceremony, bridal suite, reception and unique photography location. We offer two ceremony locations: Our picturesque front garden with incredible sunset views of volcanic Mt Warning OR our private fruit orchard with a 120 years old fig tree for your backdrop. From a cocktail party on the lawn overlooking the Tweed Valley, to our internal lush dining space, there is plenty of room to create a bespoke experience. Our signature cactus garden is famed as the most unique location for your photos. We include complete wet weather options.

How many people can each of these cater for?

Our reception area can cater up to 250 seated persons and up to 300 persons in stand up cocktail style. Fins at Plantation House is managed by celebrity chef Steven Snow and his professional team from Fins Restaurant. With 28 years of experience and year after year ‘Chef’s Hat’ awards, our catering and service is of the highest standard. 

Do we offer onsite accommodation?

We do not offer onsite accomodation. Numerous 4 and 5 start hotels and several luxury Air B n B properties are located very close to our venue. We do offer a designer bridal suite at an additional cost, which is available for use for the day of the wedding (no overnight stay).

What additional features and facilities does Fins at Plantation House offer that couples may find useful?

Our venue inclusions are complete for those who do not want a ‘DIY’ wedding venue. We provide everything you will need to just ‘walk in’ on the day of your wedding (up to 110 people), including an on the day wedding coordinator. Our team of experienced Event Specialists will assist you from start to finish with all the finer details to bring your dream wedding to reality.  Our inclusions provide access to the venue for a dry run with your celebrant, all bump in and bump out meeting times, powered ceremony site, white provincial French ceremony signing table and chairs. Our reception space includes our fully operational cocktail bar + 2 mobile garden bars, dining chairs and tables, fine china, crystal glassware, linen napkins and fine dining cutlery.  The lounge areas include 3 Plantation style lounge sets, 4 high dry bars with stools, marble cake table, rose gold cake knife, present table, outdoor cane garden furniture and outdoor marble tables.  The venue has been extensively landscaped so couples do not need to go overboard with floral arrangements. We also provide built in fairy lights and hanging chandelier light features, a high quality BOSE sound system, a wireless microphone for speeches and personalised printed menus. The entire venue offers disabled access (ramp, disabled bathroom, etc.) 

Last but not least, our venue is set amidst a 65 hectare exotic fruit plantation offering numerous wedding photos backdrops.
