Housed in an astonishing geometric architectural design, high up on the sandstone hills, overlooking the Pacific ocean - its gentle crashing waves being the soundtrack to you walking the aisle - The Coast Chapel at Little Bay (also known as The Nurses War Memorial Chapel) now offers couples the opportunity to exchange vows against incredible stained glass windows in a magnificent & unique setting.

The PHH Trained Nurses’ Association operates and manages the Nurses’ War Memorial Interdenominational Chapel located on the cliffs overlooking Little Bay.
It opened in 1967 and we have pledged to preserve and safeguard the Chapel as a memorial to women who paid the supreme sacrifice while serving with the Australian Forces on active service in the wars.
We encourage the Nurses’ War Memorial Chapel to be used for memorial services, interdenominational services, weddings, same sex weddings, christenings and funerals.
If you want to hire the Chapel contact our Booking Co-ordinator to determine the availability of the chapel for your special occasion.
We are dedicated to making these events as problem-free as possible as well as ensuring that the chapel and grounds are preserved in good order.
Open for inspection most days or by appointment.

So great! We had a quick turnaround and Anne kept everyone calm and was she was so lovely to work with from the beginning. The chapel itself is beautiful and there is plenty of space and nice areas for photos on the day. The way Anne handled everything and worked with our vendors was incredible. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect.

The Coast Chapel accommodate up to 80 people inside the chapel (as we have 16 pews altogether). We can put extra chairs (up to 15) in the covered foyer area. The foyer area can see the inside of the chapel and there is a a speaker in the foyer area.
