Proudly situated atop the highest point on the Harbour foreshore the heritage listed Sydney Observatory commands a sweeping vista of the glistening Harbour.
The historical building was completed in 1858 and is in the Italianate style which brings new dimensions of interest as a backdrop to your special celebration.

What is the capacity of the marquee? The marquee can comfortably hold 120 persons seated with a 6m x 6m dancefloor. It can hold 150 persons seated with a 5m x 4m dancefloor. For a cocktail it can hold up to 200 persons, depending on your themeing and furniture.
When the marquee is not erected ceremonies can take place on the front garden of the Sydney Observatory or in the courtyard. When the marquee is erected ceremonies can only take place on the front garden. Please note that the Sydney Observatory does not offer a wet weather back up option for ceremonies/events taking place outdoors or not within the marquee. *NOTE Observatory Hill Park & Band Rotunda (Public Reserve) are booked through the City of Sydney Council. The wedding package includes tiffany chairs in your choice of white, black or mahogany and bridal table skirting. Florals, vases, candles and other themeing items are not included in the package as we believe this allows couples to personalise their reception and accommodate their own budgets. We offer a range of themeing packages which have been provided by our preferred suppliers.
