Duart Homestead circa 1883 Victorian Homestead with friendly country hospitality we offer a ceremony and wedding reception venue with terraced gardens and 160 year old Moreton Bay fig tree.

“The perfect place to celebrate” has a reputation for quality food and friendly service.

Duart is an event venue which specialise in weddings & function catering; we offer our Victorian ballroom which seats up to 130 on long tables or 100 on round tables. We also have our charming Fig tree room which seats up to 40, as well as outside catering. Our terraced garden area allows for outside ceremonies and we have the option of indoor ceremony.

Your hosts Nathan & Natasha are friendly and approachable; we are located at 20 McLean Street Maffra.

We are Nath & Tash and having got married 20 years ago at Duart Homestead and now having owned the business for the past 15 years we love creating beautiful experiences with tailoring menus and events to suit our customers requirements. We would love the opportunity for you to make a time so we can show you what we have to offer at the Homestead.

The food was superb. Duarts did our canapes, entrees and Mains. The canapes were perfect with our after ceremony drinks and the Mains were delicious and great portions sizes, everyone was impressed and raving about the food for days after the wedding. They looked after our cake aswell and served it with cream and berries for our guests. Would definitely have duarts cater for us again.

Do venues charge more for weddings on Public Holidays?

HI All My partner and I are considering getting married on Monday 5/10/20, which is Labour Day in the ACT and NSW. We were wondering if the venue hire would be increased, or if vendors would increase their fees? I understand that many may just charge the weekend rate, which is fine, but I'm just checking. Thanks!
