OVERVIEW

Built in 1927 and recently modernised to host events, Woodlands Golf Club is considered a favourite among Melbourne couples dreaming of a golf club wedding on the green.

The team at Woodlands are here to pamper you on your special day and will happily organise anything that you require.

Set amongst landscaped gardens, manicured greens and fairways, the Clubhouse was first built in 1927 and was modernised in 2010 to now provide a state of the art facility.Whilst major renovations were made the original charm and atmosphere were retained.

An ideal backdrop for photographers, the natural environment of our manicured golf course is the perfect place for bridal party and family photographs.

You may choose to have refreshments and canapes served on the Terrace or congregate in the Main Foyer to enjoy the beauty of the gardens or sunset over the 18th Green.

With the versatility of our Dining Room we can cater for 30 -280 people. Your guests will enjoy the finest cuisine in spacious air conditioned comfort, served by our professional waiting staff. When the time comes for dancing, our portable dance floor can be located to best suit your seating plan.

We will also endeavour to meet any special requests and requirements you have.

They were really good. We had our engagement there and it went so well we then decided to have our wedding there. The venue looks amazing. They will do anything for you. Very flexible. Really easy. Staff were very friendly and had everything under control. The tasting was great. The portions of the food was very generous. 10/5 stars!

Sean and Richard were fantastic. They took care of everything and were totally relaxed throughout the whole process. The venue was beautiful, the renovations to the old clubhouse ( completed in the last few years) are elegant and tasteful. The food was amazing, people are still raving about it and no one was left hungry! The pricing was extremely reasonable and there were no hidden costs - for example: we had our ceremony in the clubhouse foyer, they gave us 6 golf carts to use for photos on course, we had a lovely romantic dinner for two to taste our menu a few weeks earlier - all of which some other places charge extra for but was included in our package costs at Woodlands. The flexible layout of their main dining room meant that we could really tailor the room for our needs, and managed to make use of the beautiful fireplace by having lounges in that area. All things considered, its a great place for a wedding!
