Way back in 2013, we had the crazy idea of opening a restaurant where you only used your hands to eat.

Yeah, the food was great, the cocktails even greater but best of all, was all of the amazing people we met and support we received in only our first year.

Rice Paper Scissors is modeled on the hawker dining bars of South East Asia with a shared-eating concept being the focus of our offering.

We aim to serve only the freshest ingredients, sourced organically and ethically where possible – and all our sauces, pates and relishes are made in-house.

Rice Paper Scissors Fitzroy is where we had our Reception. My Husband actually works for RPS so it was made all the more fun by the fact that the Staff and Owners are like our extended family. The food was amazing as always (Thai style Tapas) the cocktails were amazing and the set up was beautiful. They did such a great job and we love them so much for it. It couldn't have been more fun and special. I would highly recommend looking into Rice Paper Scissors for any functions you may have in the future. You will not be disappointed :)
