Wallaroo Estate is an idyllic location for your wedding, offering complete privacy and absolute flexibilityfor your special day. When you book your wedding at Wallaroo, you and your guests gain exclusive accessto the Wallaroo Estate and can design your day however you like. Every wedding is bespoke; no formulas,time slots or restrictions. We offer you a blank canvas (with some ‘bits’ thrown in).

Our beautiful 21m x 10m marquee sits overlooking the vineyard and Brindabella Ranges near Canberra with spectacular views and sunsets. It seats up to 150 people with parquetry dance floor, chandeliers and fairy lights. Have your ceremony in our beautiful homestead gardens and then wander over to the marquee for your reception.

The home is suitable for 10 adults in large Queen sized bedrooms. The event space is a beautiful oval garden with Edna Walling style rock wall and magnificent views over the Brindabella mountains. Our 25 acres of vineyards also provide a stunning backdrop for photos. You can also relax on walks around our 300 acre property.

Camping is also possible for guests who want to bring their own gear. We offer all of our premium wines to clients at discounted prices for your wedding.

Our venue hire includes all of your basic set up:

*100 white chairs (extra available to hire)

PLUS: take advantage of our beautiful marquee for an all-weather option and more spectacular scenery. 

We are 10 minutes from the village of Hall and 25 minutes to Parliament House in Canberra. We have a range of caterers who are familiar with the property and who have provided a wide range of food from cocktail party-style events to sit-down meals. We also have a 3-phase generator on site to ensure your caterers and band have plenty of power!

Our premium wines mean you and your guests will have access to the best at discounted prices! Our drinks packages include a range of our wine, plus local craft beer and soft drinks. Carolyn is a former political adviser and Philip is the current Chief Foreign Correspondent for the ABC and has travelled to the 'hot spots' of the world over the last 40 years. The property has been a haven from busy careers and now offers peace and privacy for the family when it's not being used for accommodation, corporate events or weddings. They bought the property in 1993 and the vineyard was planted in '96 and '97.
