The Old Church Boonah

Superbly located in a rural setting with magnificent gardens, the Old Church is an exclusive and enchanting wedding venue that offers complete privacy for you and your guests. We offer a range of wedding packages from small, intimate garden weddings to formal dining  inside  the Old  Church for up to 50 guests.

For larger groups, we have an allocated space for a marquee that that overlooks our beautiful landscaped gardens. Ultimately, we tailor the venue to suit your needs. 

As well  as  the  beautiful church hall there is scope to use the three large verandas and garden spaces to create settings for an outside drinks bar,  serving canapes,  dancing, music, garden lighting effects and more.

The Old Church BnB offers boutique accommodation for the bridal parties which can also be used for pre-ceremony preparations or accommodation for distinguished guests.

About

I am a retired veterinary surgeon who 7 years ago started the Old Church Bed & Breakfast. The Church is 145 years old and the three new bedrooms suites were built on in 2010 by myself. Last year my partner, Christelle, and I decided to get serious about hosting weddings. We had six weddings ranging between 25 and 70 guests. The Church proved to be a perfect wedding/reception venue for small bespoke weddings. Christelle is soon to become a marriage celebrant.
