When we first saw Ginninderry Homestead we immediately fell in love with it and knew it would be the perfect spot to celebrate our wedding and it did not disappoint. From our first engagements with Amelia, we knew we were in good hands as we received plenty of helpful guidance and support throughout the whole process. The location was perfect and provided a beautiful stage for the day, with plenty of romantic and scenic locations we could ensure we got everything we could possibly want out of the day. Amelia and the team at Ginninderry made sure our day went off perfectly, they were a delight to work with and didn’t experience a single stress or concern, meaning we could be completely engaged on the day. We really could not have dreamed of a more perfect location, organised venue and wonderful team to share our day with. If you are looking for a serene location, one which has a bed and breakfast component (even more convenient!) and a team that will make sure your day runs without any dramas, then look no further, Ginninderry Homestead is the wedding venue for you. We want to thank you for allowing us to have our wedding at your beautiful home. Many of our guests have commented on how lovely the venue was. There wasn't any convincing required, we knew from our first visit to Ginninderry Homestead that it was where we wanted to get married. Your team and your vendors did not disappoint. The service on the day was fantastic and we have received so many compliments about the food. Our one regret was not getting any time to eat the platter that was brought up to the veranda after the ceremony 🙁 The process was so easy. You communicated clearly throughout, and we were never left wondering what was happening next. We really appreciated your prompt responses and your willingness to answer all our questions.

My husband and I fell in love with Ginninderry Homestead the moment we drove down their beautiful driveway. This venue should be the first choice for every couple looking to get married in Canberra. It captured perfectly the fun, relaxed, happy and loving vibes that we had hoped would fill our day. Sharon took charge of the day amazingly. She was so invested in making sure our day ran perfectly (and it did) that I didn't have to do a thing. She saw my vision and created the perefect wedding. The food was what I expected from a 5 star restaurant, the staff where the most patient and happy people I have ever met, the grounds were maintained with so much love and care ... I simply can't reccommend this venue enough. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, to all the Ginninderry staff

From the moment my husband and I stepped foot onto Ginninderry Homestead, we knew we’d found the venue we wanted for our wedding. The grounds are magnificent and fitted with the rustic country estate vibe that we were going for. Also the fact that you book the entire venue from Friday afternoon to Sunday morning, with enough accommodation on site for the bridal party meant that set-up and logistics was an absolute breeze – we were able to do a ceremony rehearsal on site on the Friday and set up random bits and pieces for the reception. Sharon and Amelia were wonderful to work with both in the lead up and during the event – no question or request was too much and communication was excellent throughout. Sharon became like our fairy godmother in the lead up, we had a few last-minute unanticipated changes and she did everything in her power to make sure everything was perfect for us. The food was also incredible, and we had so many compliments afterwards from guests saying that it was the best food they’d ever had at a wedding! Thank you so much to Sharon and her team for making our day truly magical – we would highly recommend Ginninderry Homestead as a venue for any function, but particularly for weddings, it’s a magical place that needs to be seen and experienced first-hand!
