Get Expert AdviceNo Wedding Party Table at Reception
I am looking at venues for our reception and along with that table set ups. We prefer long tables. I have always loved the idea of not having a wedding party table and sitting amongst our guests. At this stage we are not having a formal wedding party just my nieces and nephews as flower girls and ring bearers. Does anyone have any examples of how couples have done this? Or advice for and against doing this?

Hey,
At MIRRA we have a very popular choice of an 'integrated bridal table', this is ideal if you are wanting to be among your guests. Most couples who choose to do this, will seat themselves in the middle of one side of a long table and would leave space opposite side of them vacant so guests can always see the couple. We would highly recommend this! It is a great way to interact with your guests, save space on your floorplan, reuse your arbour piece in front of you :)

Do we seat couples opposite or next to each other on a long table?

Seating plans can be tricky! Completely up to you and your preferences. However, we suggest seating couples beside eachother as they are able to be close and beside eachother - this can tend to make them more comfortable when communicating with your other guests and mingling !
We want our dog in our wedding. Any tips?
Would love some advice! We def want to include our dog in our wedding! We want him as the ring bearer. Are they are any things to avoid or prepare for in advance? Do all venues allow pets? Thanks!

We love pets in ceremony celebrations! Venues will generally disclose if they're allowed and where they're allowed. Food safety generally means they won't be allowed in the reception. We always reccomend nominating someone to take your pet home after the ceremony so you're not worrying about them when everyone starts to party. There are heaps of pet services now where you can hire someone to do that as well! Hope this helps! :)
