Mike and I are Cairns locals. We have lived in Cairns for more than 21 years. We absolutely love the tropical lifestyle and natural environment. Our garden is one of our favourite places to be. We look forward to hosting your wedding in our tropical garden which is such a beautiful and romantic space.

Julie-Ann and Mike were beyond incredible! Being from Adelaide we didn't have a chance to view the Garden, however we knew immediately from the stunning photos that this was the ceremony location for us. Julie-Ann and her husband Mike are a great team. The love and care they put into making their venue look great is just amazing! They made sure all our guests were taken care of, and us as the bride & groom had the most stress free experience throughout our wedding ceremony. This private tropical garden is just beautiful, and everything we could have hoped for. For all the little things you may not think of, they have! From the cold bottles of water on arrival, the cutely packaged tissues to wipe those happy tears away, umbrella’s for those who are lucky enough to have rain on their wedding day, and because it’s the tropics, they even have citronella burning out of sight to make sure no mosquitos are buzzing around. We highly recommend The Cairns Secret Garden. Xx

I am so thankful we found the Secret Garden and we’re able to have our ceremony in such a beautiful location. Julie-Ann and Michael were so amazing during our entire planning process with no question too big or too small, they were even there on the day to ensure everything ran as smoothly as possible. The location was STUNNING and value was AMAZING. If I could do the day over again I would not change a single thing and would absolutely recommend the Secret Garden to anyone looking for a beautiful rainforest backdrop for their wedding. Julie-Ann was very easy and lovely to deal with. Everything was wonderful from start to finish. They have 3 packages to choose from so all budgets are catered for. The garden itself was beautiful and private, you felt that you were in a world of your own. Our wedding was small and private, total of around 45 including us, although there is enough room enough for up to 120 guests. If you are looking for somewhere private, beautiful and romantic then look no further than The Secret Garden. Highly recommend!

Due to the unfortunate change in weather, rain was forecast over the entire weekend of our Wedding. The alternative venue option to the garden was a large veranda setup on the owners property. It was beautifully organised more than i could imagine. Owners and staff on the day were on point, professional, warm and friendly. Extra care was given to ensure all the guests had an umbrella. It really made the day feel so magical.
