I'm event professional, but it didn't start there. As a qualified fashion designer, my own label was the dream. So, you need a factory right...well as 1 of 6 kids, that wasn't on the table, so it lead me to events, where overheads were smaller. Some of my fav's would be dinner for the Queen, a corporate tour for David Beckham and 2 specific weddings - a 4 Day and a wonderland creation in an old warehouse turning it from nothing to something. I'm here to help and only a phone call away!

How do I create a timeline for the wedding day?

I don't know how long everything is going to take so how do I know how to plan out my day? I'm having a winter wedding so I want to do most of the photos before the ceremony. I want to get married during the "golden light" hours so at about 5PM so the reception can follow immediately after.

Hidden Bridesmaid

Wedding Time lines can be tricky to work out as you also don't want to feel like you are on one big treadmill all day running from one location to another. Your ceremony time is the time that all other times can be scheduled from. The next most important timeline for your guests is what time they can start at the reception venue. Start there....and continue from there.

When we did Dinner for the Queen, we learned one amazing lesson - time out everything! So, when you are writing your timeline, add in everything. From showers, to bathroom breaks, to stop and take it all in moments, transport to and fro, meet and greet - everything.

I won't give away our one of our most perfect secret here at Hidden Bridesmaid, but there is one more ingredient that somehow finds you that 15minutes that you are always searching for on your perfect day. Think about how you can do that? What can you do prior to? Who can assist you or do a task for you? It might just be as powerful as our hidden secret, you finding that 15minutes.

Is it necessary or traditional to buy your wedding suppliers thank you gifts?

I wasn't sure whether this is a tradition of some kind? If so, what kind of gift would be appropriate and how much?

I have never been asked that question! I would say thats up to you, but we are being paid for our work and seeing a happy Bride on the day is gift enough.

I want my wedding to be adults only. How can I make sure that people don't bring their kids?

Hidden Bridesmaid

This one is easy to answer. You give people plenty of time so they can arrange a sitter. The only consideration may be for a new born where Mum is feeding and the parents don't mind baby being on a chair next to them. Some will be ok, some may have to decline, which is totally understandable.
