Shutter Scope Wedding Photography & Film

I try to keep our process as simple and natural, there are a few key steps in this.

1. The Initial Meeting/conversation - I always like to have a discussion with my couples to find out exactly what you are after and get to know you both. This is usually done over the phone or preferably over some coffee! 

2. Confirmation - If you're happy with everything we discuss and have decided to go ahead I will send you a link to our booking form so I can get all of the necessary details for the day. After this you will receive your booking confirmation and invoice. The Date is now all yours ! I'll stay in contact throughout the whole period leading up to your big day and do specific check ins a month and week before the wedding, just to make sure everything is on track :)

3. The Wedding Day ! The most exciting part of the whole process ! This is your time to relax, have fun and enjoy each other and the company of your family and friends. We will be there throughout the day capturing everything !

4. Post-editing - This is when I take all of the beautiful images and transform them even more through editing and post-processing. Post editing can take between 2-6 weeks.

5. Online album creation - After editing I will create a personalised gallery for your images. This will be accessible through an emailed link. This will let you view, download, share and favourite your images. You can also order your prints (framed or non-framed) through here. We partner with one of Australias best printing companies to bring you this service !

My biggest tip is embrace it and make it part of your day ! Seriously, you will be having such a great time that you probably wont even take that much note of it. 

If it's drizzling and it doesn’t look like it's getting any worse then I would definitely gamble for having the ceremony outdoors, particularly if you have a beautiful location. A bit of rain never hurt anyone, the clouds will make the light beautiful for photos, and you can just have some umbrellas on hand in case it does start raining during the ceremony.I do recommend having a wet weather option just incase it starts pouring down, this could even be another spot at the venue you booked.

 Sometimes the best option is to just drop the umbrellas and go all in. Once you’ve got all the important bits out of the way, and you just want to have some ‘you time’, there’s nothing wrong with just embracing the downpour and having fun with it. If you’re up for it, so are we! Last but not least trust us as your photographers to guide your photos on the day, we will most certainly have already scouted out some covered spots for your photos !

Before we have our first meeting, here are some questions to think about ! 

- Do you have any specific images that you really want to get on the day ? i.e. a location, anything special to you or maybe a group of people together. Jot down as many as you like and we can keep adding as we go along ! 

- Is there anything sentimental you want captured ? We always ask our couples to bring anything that is important on their wedding day so we can make sure its included. This could be a gift, an image, a letter... pretty much anything thats important to you :)

- How comfortable are you in front of the camera ? Don't worry, even if youre camera shy we will do our best to guide you and make you comfortable. We will mostly be giving you natural queues and just stepping back to give you the space to be you.

- Are there any family dynamics we should know about ?

- Which part of your wedding day is the most important to you ?
