A true Melbournian, photographer Ben Ferguson is a self-proclaimed “coffee enthusiast, artist, and foodie” - man after our own hearts, and enjoys storytelling via his camera. Ben, owner of Ben Ferguson Photography, is obsessed with both light and emotion, and utilises this to capture extraordinary shots full of warmth and depth.
This sensational wedding photographer is classically trained, and boasts a degree in photography (with honours). Since graduating, Ben has gone on to beautifully photograph countless weddings, and has more than ten years of wedding industry experience. Over this time, Ben has developed customisable wedding packages for his couples to choose from, including half-day (starting from $2,190) and full-day options (starting from $2,990).
In his wedding packages, Ben offers unlimited shots, two copies of each high-res and low-res photo, exceptional editing, and unlimited photo locations - it’s what he calls a “no-nonsense” approach to packages. The best part? Ben doesn’t see his wedding packages as final, and is more than happy to meet with you over coffee (latte, no sugar) to discuss a custom package.

My Photographic style is very much documentary. I see myself as the story teller of your special day, capturing the events and emotions of every moment. If you hardly notice I'm there, then I am a happy man. I want to blend into the background, capturing timeless images of your day for you to show off to your family and friends for years, and generations to come.
Unfortunately no, I'm not a videographer. I do know several fantastic storytellers that I can recommend for your day, and I can easily set up a tripod to record items such as the ceremony and speeches. But if you're after a full service wedding videographer, I suggest you contact me as I know some rippers.

You read my mind! Meetings are encouraged, as many and as often as needed! I love to grab a latte (no sugar) with my couples to chat through their special day. Now say it with me,

Me and my little RAV4 have been all over Victoria shooting weddings, and interstate on other assignments. We are no stranger to dirt tracks or city traffic. If I have to drive more than an hour I'll bring it up, but falling short of that, it's all part of the day.
If you have more elaborate travels needs, we'll chat through it and come up with a solution.
When I'm at your weddings, I'm there 100%. I will document every little moment of your day, your shoes, flowers, jewellery, your emotions, cologne, friends, kisses, hugs...you get the idea. For groups, I like to get a list from you before the wedding so I can make sure I hit every group so no one misses out.
I'm yet to meet a couple that is. Don't worry, we will work together to find shots, angles and light that show you, for you. And if you want something a little more elaborate, I will make it work.

Every wedding is different, every wedding is unique and my packages change, mould and alter with every couple. You need only get in contact and I will happily share my full pricing with you.
I hate them.
I will supply you with 2 version of each image. One full res for printing, and a low res for web use. Easy-pie.
There is no hard limit to how many shots I can supply you with. As far as I see it, they're all your shots anyway; it's your day, not mine! However I normally deliver somewhere around the 400 mark.

Although I normally do drive myself, if the wedding locations are around the city, it's sometimes easier to Uber or cab between locations. That way you're not stuck looking for a park, but are still ahead of the bridal party, so you can capture interior shots and images of the bridal party exiting the car(s). Hope that helps!
