Laurence was our photographer at our wedding this year in February, he was recommended by a friend and we clicked straight away. We met up a few months before for a chat and discussed our ideas and his style (which we thought was really cool from what we'd seen online). He gave good pre-wedding and ceremony styling advice and suggested a super awesome location for pre-ceremony photos. He made us feel at ease on the day, we had such a great time, everything went to plan. Then the photos, were all we had hoped, he captured everything and everything that we had wished. We still can't decide what to use for our thank you cards or to put in a frame, because we have so many beautiful photos to choose from. Laurence did a brilliant job capturing our wedding over one amazing weekend from the Vietnamese Temple Blessing and tea ceremony to the wedding nuptials. He was very personable, with a professional work ethic, and captures moments so beautifully and candidly that he blended in with all our guests making everyone forget his camera presence. Laurence was fantastic listening to our ideas, incorporating and capturing specific wedding traditions, and keeping in contact via an initial face-to-face meeting and via email especially as we were planning our wedding across 2 different continents, but that never phased him. We had such an amazing weekend, and looking through our wedding album takes us back to the very moment of it all. Laurence J McDonald took our wedding photos and we think he is a top photographer. He created a really comfortable and creative atmosphere for us, he also delivered in all the areas that were important to us and probed to have an unique eye behind the camera and in edition.
