Samuel Hunter Photography

My name is Samuel Hunter and I love taking photographs. I can remember the precise moment it became a passion for me. It was during a holiday to New Zealand with my family when I was twelve years old. I was taking a photo with an old 35 mm film camera of some snow-capped mountains off in the distance somewhere in south island of NZ, and I fell in love.

Since then my passion has grown and diversified, encompassing a variety of styles. If you had of told me that I was going to be a wedding photographer five years ago and be enjoying it as much as I do, I would have thought you were crazy. I did my first wedding as a favor for a friend, and everything changed. Photography took on a whole new meaning for me and I couldn’t be happier – shooting weddings requires a type of breed – I am that breed.

Photography for me now means capturing moments. Small moments, big moments, moments that will be gone forever in the flash of an eye unless I am there to capture them.

I pride myself on being able to make photography affordable for people. My packages include prices for ALL TYPES OF BUDGETS AND TASTES. My favorite part of my job is getting feedback from clients that use words like “amazing”; “I’m blown away”. I let my photos do the talking.
