Based in Varsity Lakes on the Gold Coast, I provide fun and creative wedding photography on the Tweed Coast, Gold Coast and surrounding Hinterland, Scenic Rim and Brisbane areas.
As an experienced wedding photographer I absolutely love everything wedding! From planning the details, to being there on your amazing day, capturing that first look, your love for each other, and your story.

You'll receive a beautiful collection of high resolution images and a beautiful leather USB in a keepsake timber box documenting the story of your day.

A sneak peek is provided 72 hours from your wedding day. Your final online gallery and USB is available no later than 6 weeks from your wedding date.
The number of images can vary slightly, depending on the duration booked, and the details of your day. Typically an 8 hr wedding would receive from 450 - 600+ images, each of these images are edited for colour, exposure and composition and are ready to print.
No, the final images you receive on your online gallery and USB are not watermarked.
To secure your date you need to complete the agreement/booking form, and pay the non refundable retainer which comes off your final balance. You then receive our Wedding Photography Guide with some tips and planning ideas and your date is secure and confirmed.
Final payment is due 3 weeks prior to your wedding day. There will be a questionnaire to complete confirming all of your details, then we will meet out on location before your day.

It is great to meet with potential photographers, and not just chat over email, as you spend so much time together on the day. You could ask:
Who will be the main photographer?
View a full wedding gallery to show a complete wedding, not just their top images selected for a website gallery
Have they shot at your venue before, and if not, will they walk through will you before your day
What type of equipment is used, and if they have experience with flash - incase of bad lighting
Deposits required and the payment process
Make a list and take it when you meet with them. Couples I have booked often have met with a couple of photographers, and say they have booked me because they not only love my work but are really looking forward to working with me, which is so lovely. Book someone willing to invest sometime in you!
Should wedding photographers have two cameras?

Simple answer is YES... it is a day you cannot redo and anything can happen. I always shot with two cameras so I have varied images across both cameras saved and should one camera malfunction I have another, and my second shooter has two also.
Are two wedding photographers better than one?
Bec Pattinson Photography
An experienced wedding photographer can capture your day on their own and will get all those must have images. Have a second shooter allows for more images from a completely different point of view, plus we don't need to rush back after your location shoot as the second photographer can return early to your venue for your reception setup shots, and the groom and groomsmen don't need to get ready ridicliously early, as the sedond photographer can capture this also.
But there is a difference between a second shooter and a photographers assistant, so check to see what you are paying for.
