Tell us about your wedding packages and inclusions.
I offer packages based on the time frame to keep things super simple. For my couples who want a fine art lay flat album, I offer an 8 hour package with or without the album. I also offer 2,4 and 6 hour packages. It couldn't be easier. As long as you have secured your date with me, you can change the package later on. As I only take on a select number of weddings per year, its better just to lock in your date and we can work out what you need together.

I love family life, interiors shows, my dogs and anywhere I can sit on a balcony and soak up a great vibe. I'm married to a golf obsessive (we even got married on a golf course), and forever grateful to live and work in Geelong. I'm so glad you asked because it's really important to have a photographer who shares your vision for your day. My style is romantic, modern and fresh with a strong editorial focus. Editorial simply means what you'd expect to see in a magazine or print. I do lean to a more light and airy style rather than dark and moody.
No definitely not. I like to think of myself as a fairly quiet presence through your day, just here to provide some gentle guidance when necessary or to help you out. Approximately 90% of an 8 hour wedding is candid coverage. Think of it like having a journalist documenting your wedding. In the getting ready portion, I busy myself capturing everything thats going on. We may do some pictures with bridesmaids and a few bridal portraits but I'm generally out of the way. I may suggest a nice well lit space to put on your dress. After the ceremony (or before in some cases), we'll head out and I will give some direction for portraits. I like to think I'll give you enough instruction to look natural but not so little you stand around wondering what to do with your hands. It might be something as simple as 'hey go for a walk, hold hands, talk to each other'.
It is worth mentioning that some people like a little extra direction and help with 'posing', and feel more comfortable and confident in their images if they've been posed in a flattering way. If that is you, just let me know and that is also easily achieved.
I edit all images carefully - in fact, I edit skin to look beautiful but still natural. Not only do i look out on the day for lipstick on teeth or any number of things, but we can have a chat about any temporary blemishes if they occur, so don't stress if you have a break out. I make sure all the colours you carefully chose for your day are accurately displayed.
You receive approximately 100 images per shooting hour. Obviously, this can change. For example, a wedding held completely at night may have less. I give you as many as I can.
No doubt this is tricky. I do check the weather the week of every wedding and we have a chat if its looking rainy. We can do some in the rain with an umbrella but I don't always think this is a great idea. You don't want to get your dress and shoes muddy and wet. We can do them indoors and this works great for beautiful venues. We could move portrait time to earlier in the day. I will present you with a rain plan if the forecast is not looking good. When all fails and you just want the dreamy portraits you envisoned, I have done reshoots before - thats where you put your dress back on, hubby dons the suit again, (or you two grooms get your suits on) you get hair and make up done again and we go out another time. I offer super reasonable rates for reshoots.

Hi there, I am considering hiring a wedding content creation and capture service like @SocialSnapshots, however am unsure as to how i could work this into my budget. I already have a photographer but I'm looking for more behind the scenes content, capturing the details of my day. I am moving states to be with my partner so I'll know there will be plenty of emotions that the photographer wont accurately capture. What do you think of this sort of new service?

I think you only get this day once and its amazing how new ways to remember it are coming out! I absolutely think its a great idea. Content creation is restricted to phone use so as awesome as the Iphone 14 is, you'll still need your photographer and videographer. But the content creation adds another dimension. I offer a couple of ways to do this. You may use my content assistant for the day and they will use your phone to capture as much footage and photos as possible that you will have so much fun looking back over the next day. I also offer another service which is content creation on our Iphone 14 and my staff member, which you receive the next day. It will include ready made reels, videos and stills and so much footage you'll have to be careful not to spend your honeymoon on your phone. We also offer optional poloroids to take home on the night.
