Established in 2008 Devine Photography has been capturing moments for almost a decade. With nearly 10 years of photographic experience, you can be assured that your moments will be captured with commitment and passion.
Since the first time I picked up a Nat Geo magazine as a young child the camera and final image is something that has always captivated me. Then in 2002 I picked up my first digital camera teaching myself along the way. When I picked up my first digital camera, I knew straight away this would change the game of photography forever.
In 2008 with social media on the rise, my big break in photography came. Covering nightclub venues and pubs and then posting to Myspace and Facebook the following day. This time photography was no longer just a hobby for me, it was becoming my new career. As fun and enjoyable those early days were my creativity was craving for something more.
I now capture beautiful Weddings, which are a full day (12 hours) coverage although send me a message if you need something a little more tailored to you. Every client is different and I’m happy to accommodate your needs.

Every wedding is unique. It can be anywhere from 300 to 700 Images per wedding. Depending on how much you have planned for your wedding day e.g 'First Look' or traditional pre wedding customs, fireworks etc it may mean more images.
Although the number of images may seem important at first, over time there will always be a few classic images that will stand out. These are the photos that will be in your album for years to come, that will be mounted on a wall in your home or will be sitting on your bedside table. The most important thing a wedding photographer can do is produce an image for a client that will last a life time.
Usually around 6-8 weeks depending on how busy a wedding season is.
Only the photos that are deemed to make the final cut. On a typical wedding day a photographer can take as many as 3000 photos maybe more. Not all these photos will make the final cut. Much like a movie being edited there are scene's that never make it to the movie screen. As a photographer it is our job to curate a set of images and tell the story of your wedding day in the most compelling way possible.
For working photographers & videographers a meal after 8 hours of constant work is much appreciated. Most venues will cater for your photographer/videographer with a supplier meal. Ask your reception host if they do.
As soon as you have confirmed your wedding venue. Brides & Grooms to-be, usually book their Wedding Ceremony & Reception venues any where between 18 months to as late as 6 months. As with booking anything wedding related it is first come first serve.

I believe it is. If it's your dream photographer why not? Don't hold back as you only get to do your wedding once (hopefully). The great thing about having someone come in from interstate is they tend to see the locations with fresh eyes compared to the local photographers. As a rule its a good idea for the photographer to arrive a day early. This allows time to settle at their accomodation, unpack, prepare and if time permits scout the locations. I couldn't image anything worse than flying in on the same day and heading over to the Brides & Grooms straight off an early morning flight. For destinations weddings in a different timezone & climate a good 48 to 72 hours is good prep time for your photographer. This allows them to adjust to local weather conditions different timezones so they are performing optimally on the wedding day.
