Jazz music largely influences my photography philosophy. Much like my favorite jazz musicians, I understand the importance of being adaptable, improvisational, in the moment. My experiences, both as a jazz musician and an event photographer, have developed in me the courage to creatively engage in the unexpected moments – your guests’ smiles and laughter, your family’s happy tears, the freedom in dancing, the deep intimate gazes shared between a couple in love.

YES! I am not the type of photographer where the poses are specific and staged. I aim to reflect your true selves when you look at your images! I’ll give you a bit of direction, but really, my aim is to be invisible and capture the moments of your special event, the unforced, spontaneous moments.
I will most definitely make time to meet you in person. If it is not possible, we can set up a time via Skype/Facetime and the like! This is also the time where we can exchange ideas about your day, discuss the timeline and give shape to your wedding day.
It means I will be around capturing photos from the early hours until the bride and groom departs from the reception venue at night. The whole day!
Yes, absolutely. Travel time around the metro Adelaide is included in the packages, but the regional areas might require a small fee to cover travel costs and possible accomodation.
For overseas wedding destination, it is free of charge! I would only ask if you could cover the flight and accomodation costs and we are all set! Please contact me to discuss details.
For the two packages, you could expect between 300-600 photos. There will be two sets of images you will receive, one set will be high-resolution images that is perfect if you wanted to print and frame the photos, the other is a smaller file size which is great for social media sharing. Images have no encryption nor watermarks, it will be for you to keep forever.

Hello there! Thank you for the question that you posted - I get asked this quite a few times...
In my opinion, there are three main things I would put in priority in terms of financing a wedding.
1) Hair and Make Up
2) Professional Photographer/Videographer
3) Food and drinks (canapes and reception)
With the first one - this is important as this will establish your look for the rest of the day. WIth professional hair and make up, it doesn't matter if you cry on the day or you sweat because of the weather, it will keep your beautiful look for the rest of the day; your photos would look beautiful in any angle.
The second one, which is the professional photographer - Photos have a way of capturing that moment of emotion, having an "experienced" and reliable photographer will be able to achieve this for you. If you were thinking, "Ah, I can ask someone to "photoshop" it after the photos have been taken", this is a big no for me. A professional photographer will be able to capture photos that need minimal editing as the emotions will stand out of the photo.
The third one is food, you've gotta have great food! Not much anything else to say, really!
But to answer your question - hire a professional wedding photographer, don't settle for less, make your memories count and have someone do it excellently! If you hire a student, you'll get student quality photos, if you a professional, you'll get professional quality photos.
