What ever the moment, it’s always real… Of course we’ll always give direction where needed to get those amazing shots, after all, we know what makes a great photo but it’s always enjoyable and that’s our main point of difference from many others.

Hello - Im Valerie the Studio Manager at MacDougall Photography and I love my job. You see I don't go out to photograph the weddings but I get to know all our couples so well through the journey of planning, we are with you every step of the way. So the joy of seeing and sharing the photos after the big day is such highlight for me in my role. After 8 years I still get excited and love nothing more than designing together your personalised wedding album

Valerie is our studio Manager -From the time you call to enquire about a job through to album design Valerie is your go-to person. Not only is she super professional but incredibly fun and friendly and super helpful with organising your photography needs.
We’re a small but highly experienced studio and you'll get personal service and high quality photography.

Pre - wedding photoshoots are common and for varied reasons - Yes of course it's such a happy time in your life and we would love to capture that moment in time, so as to treasure it as you plan the big day. Images can be used as a calender on your social feed as you count down the months building excitement as your friends and family see you all loved up on lead up tot the big day. Some of our past clients also like to create a print of the entrance of the reception room.
However more and more reasons arise that couples appreciate - decisions that may be flipping about in your mind can be ironed out , a make up trial before the shoot is a wise decision, the hair up or down debate and with grooms the facial hair growth can also be decided.
Above all though is that you get a chance to work and build a solid relationship with your PHOTOGRAPHER !!! who will be with you onyour wedding day all day !!
