The Aerials - Great Reception!
We've been playing at weddings and functions together for over 3 years, with Chris playing solo for over 8! Over that time we’ve developed a unique approach to events, and a unique musical set-up.
As a duo, we’re able to mix and match songs on the fly, improvise, move with the crowd and deliver the right performance at the right time.
Providing sweet melodies as a bride walks down the aisle, creating a laid back and welcoming atmosphere for drinks and dinner, and filling a dance floor with classic live tunes, whole crowd sing-a-longs, and epic DJ dance parties; We've got it all covered!
Our song list includes tunes from 1940’s jazz standards all the way to modern dance floor hits, and we’re more than happy to learn any requests you might have! With many years playing countless weddings all around NSW, we have the professionalism, flexibility, and understanding to accomodate for all sorts of requests and scenarios.
We’ve played and DJ'd weddings at scenic and opulent venues around Sydney, in backyards in the Blue Mountains, at sheep stations out in Central NSW, we’ve done it all and we love doing it, don’t hesitate to get in touch, we can’t wait to hear from you!
About
Hi! My name is Chris and i've been playing in pubs/clubs/cafes since I was seventeen, I've been doing weddings for around seven years now and they're by far my favourite event to play! I grew up in the blue mountains, developing a taste in blues and roots music from a young age, so that's reflected in what I do nowadays, I love playing classic songs and giving them a rootsy twist! We're based in the Inner West of Sydney but are happy to travel state wide!
We do charge modest travel and accomodation fees for long journeys, that is anything over 1.5 hours from the Inner West.
Yes!
We have a full set up for DJ-ing weddings equipped with lighting. We have a large selection of music and have the facilities to take requests when there is reception or wifi at the location
Of course!
We're happy to provide extra microphones and work with you to make speeches audible for everyone in venues big and small
Yes!
We're happy to learn up to five songs if we have at least a month's notice. These can be for any portion of your wedding, we can learn them just like the recording, or put our own spin on them!
Yes, we require a 40% deposit on booking, and the balance to be paid the week prior to the wedding.
