Sydney Wedding Guitarist
Hi Caroline,
Just a quick tip about ceremony music... when you're choosing a processional piece, try to find something that is a good pace for walking, (in my opinion slower songs work better than upbeat ones). Feel free to contact me for a list of suggestions.
The register signing is the longest part of the ceremony for music, you'll have between 3 and 5 minutes of signing and photos. This is a great time for a favorite song to be played, something that's meaningful to you and your partner. In my experience, anything with a gentle mood will work well for the signing.
The recessional piece (as you walk back down the aisle together) is a great time for something upbeat and celebratory. Your guests will most likely be clapping and cheering so it's more about finding something that suits this mood, rather than the lyrics of the song which will probably be drowned out!
All the best for your wedding
Dave
