Comprising some of the most experienced and well-known professional musicians in the region, The Rumour is the Hunter’s most exciting live act for weddings and other special events.

Featuring both male (Marty Worrall) and female (Karyn Raftery) lead vocalists, and three-part harmonies, The Rumour performs a huge range of material from retro to current hits.

We live and breathe our music - all members of The Rumour have performed with some of the biggest names in the Australian Music Industry and are full-time musicians.

The Rumour is available as a 5 piece band, or a trio, depending on your needs and budget.

We understand how important music is to you for your wedding, and we can work with you to create the memorable occasion your friends and family will be talking about for years to come! From dinner music to dance sets and even music for your ceremony, The Rumour can make it work for you.

We will provide high quality production and lighting, the break music between our sets and a microphone for speeches. You don’t need to worry about anything but enjoying your day.
