Your wedding day is the most important day of your life! Only the perfect sound track played by an exciting, talented, fun and professional group of musicians will do.

Wonderbrass have over 13 years experience performing as one of the most experienced bands for weddings & receptions. Don’t hesitate to ask us for a quote for a smaller group of musicians for your ceremony.

Our packages for wedding receptions include the following:
- The wedding band tailored to suit your requirements and budget.
- Full sound and lighting production operated by an experienced and qualified sound engineer.
- 6 hour reception package with up to 4 x 45min sets of music with the flexibility to adjust to your requirements.
- The wedding entertainment band can also take song requests for special ceremonial parts of the day.
- The option of a jazz trio performing for your guests arrival and pre-dinner drinks.
- The option to select the repertoire you love for the night from our extensive list of wedding music: the bands’ experience means we offer hundreds of classics & contemporary hits to choose from.
- Meeting with our management to discuss the day in detail to ensure you are 100% comfortable with every detail.
- Cultural options available such as Jewish Weddings

Wonderbrass don’t just provide wedding entertainment in Sydney; we are able to travel to venues out of the city as well. Not only have we travelled the WORLD performing for events, we are proud to be one of the preferred wedding bands for Hunter Valley and coastal weddings.

About

Baher is a musician who's spent more than 15 years performing professionally around Australia and abroad. He has played for a wide range of events from the live Jamie Oliver show and backing Todd Mckenney (dancing with the stars, the boy from oz), to the Manly Jazz Festival and and corporate functions abroad.

FAQ

Yes. We do require a 50% deposit and a signed agreement to complete your booking.

This deposit is refundable up to 40% depending on how far away from the wedding date you cancel.

Generally we offer our clients a maximum of 4 x 45 minute sets of music with a maximum of 2 of those for dancing.

This means that you can have up to 4 background/funky/jazzy sets and a maximum of 2 dance sets, but not more than 4 sets altogether.

In the breaks we play some music over the PA (which we're more than happy for you use to plug in your iPod/other device)

We have found that that amount of music is more than enough for any event. Most events run 2 bakcground sets and one longer dance sets. We are however, very flexible and can slot in around your speeches and other festivities.

NB. when quoting you, we do so based on a 4-6 hour function time. Anything more than that and there's usually an extra charge

The quick answer is "yes". We have an extensive play list and love to know what you want to hear and don't want to hear.

We believe, due to our vast experience, that we have a really good grasp of what gets people up and dancing, so don't stress, our clients are always happy with our choices, but we'll also do our best to accommodate yours.

We can provide all our own sound & lighting. We don't provide a stage, but we also don't need one. As long as we have an area big enough to accommodate us we're happy.

NB. some venues only allow thier in-house production, in which case we won't charge for the contracting of our production company.

Yes. The band holds a public liability policy. Further, most of our musicians have thier own personal insurance to cover damage to thier equipment.

Yes. There are however, extra costs involved to cover the travel fees and extra time. If your event is outside of the central coast (north), Springwood (west) or Wollongong (South) and it finishes after 10pm then we do require accommodation for the band and 1 crew where applicable.

WHAT A BAND!!! These guys know their stuff, easy to work with and such a professional approach. It's easy to be overwhelmed with choice for live music but The Wonderbrass really have it all!

Amazing band! Got everyone up and dancing! All our guests loved the show. Fantastic communication and flexibility before our big day which definitely helped us not worry about things coming together. Can’t recommend enough. Worth much more than we paid as it just made our celebration so memorable.

Are there additional fees to have continuous music without breaks?

No aditional fees required for playing some music through our PA in the band breaks.

Of course. We would love to! We have a wide song list that you can choose from and we're willing to learn a song or 2 also time permitting.
