G’day! I’m Andy from Andy Lacy Music (solo acoustic) and Handpicked Acoustic Duo. I’m an experienced and versatile singer and guitarist with a passion for what live music can bring to wedding celebrations.
Based in the beautiful town of Castlemaine, for years our solo and duo acts have performed far and wide across central Victoria and beyond helping many couples celebrate their special day by bringing stylish, tasteful and professional acoustic music to all types of weddings – from backyard and bush do’s to black-tie events, and everything in between.
From much experience, I truly believe that nothing really compares to the vibe and unique touch that live music can bring to any or all parts of a wedding day. Looking for a few special, tunes to be performed at your ceremony or perhaps ‘your song’ for your first dance? Can do! Perhaps you’re after a cruisey feel for your ceremony and drinks/canapes hour, but want to crank it up a few notches for the reception? Got you covered. I’m relaxed and flexible and can perform at just your ceremony, your ceremony and canapés, or reception only (or whatever unique format your special day might follow). Whatever combination is going to work best for you works for me and all packages and quotes can be tailored to your particular live music needs.
I come fully equipped with professional PA gear (including capability for multiple set-up locations as needed), loads of testimonies, an ever-expanding repertoire of songs from the 60’s to today – and a smiling, professional, easy going vibe that comes with truly loving what I get to do.

Every event/venue is different so our rates vary a little and take in to account location/travel, all gear, start/finish times and performance. For a detailed quote for your needs, please get in touch with some details including date, type of event, location, and whether you’re after a solo acoustic or duo and we’ll get back to you ASAP with a quote. We'll always do what we can to work within your budget...
Yes we do – we have professional PA systems to ensure high quality sound all night long.
Sure can – or you are also very welcome to play your own music/playlists through our PA during breaks via iPod.
A bit of everything, with a focus on songs people know and love from the 60’s to today. Setlists can be tailored to match your event/venue.
Yep – depending a bit on the space and how far you want the sound to travel! There are limitations to unplugged performance, but if a fully acoustic vibe is what you’re after and it will work for the venue, that’s no problems at all – we’re happy to work in with what you need.
Yes, this has been done many times and is always a pleasure to do. All we need is a bit of notice and for the song to be adaptable to an acoustic version.
