TIME MACHINE DANCE PARTY isn't a typical DJ. It's a show fronted by our DJ Halloween Jack himself...it's a fully immersive (visual and audio) dance floor experience shown on a big screen which takes the audience through the history of rock'n'roll from 1955 to current day. It's one song from each year showing the original video interspersed with cultural and historic footage from that year. It's the ultimate inclusive show as it keeps everyone who wants to dance on the dance floor while intriguing those who stay in their seats.

So you may need an additional normal DJ who can supply music for the entire event and even lead a 'first dance' etc.

THE LOVE GROOVERS are renowned for going the extra mile for our clients. We pride ourselves on being able to play 'anything you want...all night long.' And with our famous brass section and exceptional singers your guests are in for a dance floor experience like no other.

That means they can play up to 4 x 50 minute sets. So, for example, they can be playing jazz and easy tempo as everyone's entering the reception. They can also play during entrees and main. They can lead the 'first dance', father/daughter dances etc. Later, when formalities are over, they can pick up the tempo and go into full drive with high energy song after song making sure the dance floor is full with the top dance songs everyone knows and loves.

The beauty of having a professional host is that all your guests are able to relax and enjoy the reception. Not only that but a good MC should be able to bring something really special to the overall 'vibe'. He or she should be a 'joy creator'. At the same time he or she should be skilful in liaising with the kitchen making sure the meals are on time and don't clash with the speeches and running order of the event. 

We offer something even better. Darryl Lovegrove is hugely experienced in emceeing weddings and some of the nations most prestigious events - not just because he knows how to keep everything running smoothly but he is a world class performer...in fact he's a star of Musical Theatre Star and an Australian Event Awards 'Entertainer of the Year' and is able to perform a solo show covering some of the biggest arias and show stopper songs in the biz. When he's introduced he walks into the room singing opera which never fails in lifting the room and letting them know that they're in for a very unique and exciting event. Best of all, he's renowned for making it all about the bride and groom and often learns requested songs.

All up they can play up to 60 minutes of material. Some bride and grooms like having them for the whole hour at the end of the night when they want everyone on the dance floor. Some like them to present a 15 minute dinner set (more easy tempo) earlier in the night and than have them come back later to turn up the tempo with the full dance floor set.

Both ways work really well. It's up to you!
