Allysha Cleeman

Allysha Cleeman is a dynamic performer with a voice to entrance audiences both young and old. Her stylistic versatility allows her to cross between classical and contemporary genres, from opera to jazz, musical theatre & cabaret. Her grace and genuine warmth shine through on- stage and off. She has performed at many high-profile events over the years, including corporate functions, fundraisers, concerts and stage productions.

Allysha has captivated audiences with her sweet, lyrical voice and highly entertaining performances. She is a true actress and natural story-teller, bringing each character to life with sensitivity and vibrancy.

Allysha completed her formal training at the Academy of Western Australia, and has performed lead roles in several Perth theatre productions, including Bernstein's Broadway hit 'West Side Story' as Maria, and Lehar's beautiful operetta 'The Land of Smiles' as Lisa. She has also performed the role of Fantine in 'Les Miserables', and the youngest of the four March sisters in Mark Adamo's first opera based on the book by Louise May Alcott; 'Little Women'.

Allysha has performed as a soloist on a number of occasions for the West Australian Youth Orchestra, at the Burswood Music by Moonlight concerts, and the Claremont Carols by Candlelight.

In previous years, Allysha has been invited to perform as a soloist for a number of prestigious events, including the WA Tourism Awards at the Burswood Theatre, the Queen's Golden Jubilee at Government House Ballroom, and the WA Breast Cancer Long Table Lunch.

One of her fondest performance experiences was putting on a fundraiser concert at Government House Ballroom for the Nepal earthquake victims in 2015, with fellow musicians Madeleine Antoine and Mark Coughlan.

Hello! I am passionate about music and by day I'm the music specialist at a local primary school. I love teaching children and sharing my know enthusiasm and joy with those who are starting out on their musical journey. I also love salsa dancing, gardening (when I can keep the plants alive), walking and just generally being amongst nature. I love going to the beach, to the hills, and would love to travel to exotic parts of the globe to meet new people and experience different cultures! :)
