Ceremony music is definitely my specialty.  I can accomodate any type of ceremony, be it in a religious ceremony in a church, or a civil ceremony in a chapel, park or other outdoor area.

My song list is very extensive and covers many styles and genres. For church weddings I also have a repertoire of Hymns and Christian Worship songs.

For ceremonies I offer the following packages:

• Soloist (accompanied by professional quality instrumental music tracks which recreate the original recorded band sound)
• Acoustic Duo (with your choice of live pianist or guitarist)

I also offer Reception Entertainment in the following line-ups:

• Solist (accompanied by instrumental tracks as above) - this is suitable for a very small wedding 
• Soloist or Acoustic Duo & DJ Package (this is suitable for weddings of all sizes and offers the ambiance of live music through dinner followed by the party atmosphere of a professional DJ for dancing)
• Live Band (flexible line-ups from Duo right up to a full 6-7 piece live band)

I am more than happy to accomodate requests and learn one or two songs for your ceremony or reception, at no extra charge!

However this would be subject to the availability of sheet music (if booked with a live musician) or professional quality instrumental tracks (if booked solo).

In most cases popular current and classic songs are not a problem. However if your requested song is a little more on the obscure side, and I have difficulty finding the music, it may not be possible. If  this is the case I am more than happy to play a recorded version via my sound system. This being said, I am usually able to accomodate 99% of requests

Yes, it's extremely important to ensure that any music equipment is protected from hot sun or even the slightest possiblity of rain. Should the equipment overheat or get wet it may stop  working (whcih will not only ruin your wedding but could possibly cause expensive damage). As we live in Melbourne and weather is unpredictable, most musicians do expect a large market umbrella or (beteter still) a small canope to be provided for outdoor weddings.

I do prefer to use power wherever possible as power is obviously far more reliable.

However, my PA system can be operated by a generator for outdoor purposes. I have a good quality generator that allows me to provide up to 1.5 hours of music with no power. 

This means I can perform in parks, beaches or any other outdoor location.

In order to secure a booking I require a deposit, which is usually non-refundable. Depending on which services you have booked, the dposit required ranges from $100 to $250.

If you should ever wish to re-book me in future however, I am happy to transfer your original deposit towards the new booking (even if it's years later)
