    Before arranging any music for your wedding, we recommend talking with the venue to find out what their policy is on entertainment. The practical aspects of the venue are important such as atmosphere, décor, lighting, access, departure times and the venue's location.The food, service and entertainment are the most important aspects of the function and you need to ensure you're happy and that you've chosen the best suppliers within your budget. Always brief the venue on your entertainment requirements to get some feedback. You are under no obligation to use the venues preferred suppliers, as some make commissions from forcing you to use them. This practice is illegal and is third party enforcement. Always negotiate direct with the suppliers and take advice from the venue as to their top 3 recommendations. Refuse to pay any penalties a venue may demand for not using their suppliers, as this is also illegal. Remember nothing is for Free! …you're paying for it in the package price.

    We could not recommend Middleton Events enough! BIG Five stars! John was our celebrant, MC and DJ for our wedding and our guests can not stop talking about how great John was. From the special personalised touches in the ceremony to the knowing just what song to play (John had everyone up and dancing!), it was certainly night to remember!     Arranging our wedding via Middleton Events was the best decision ever!     What are some fun activities for the wedding reception?

    Hi and congratulations on your wedding. Your question is quite broad and will vary given your wishes. Every bride is different and we've performed at over 10,000 weddings and not one has been the same. It all comes down to you, your family and guests. I'm not a big fan of games at weddings, as I think its quite inapropriate for a gathering of family and friends who havent seen each other for awhile. But hey we are all different aand respect those who want that. There are many ways you can entertain, engage and interact with guests without making guests the centre of attention and feeling a bit awkward.     Wedding speeches, who gives a speech and should there be a format as to not repeat?

    Struggling to know who should be giving a speech and what each speech should contain so we are not all repeating each other. ??

    Generally there will be 4 to 6 speeches and quite often they can be seperated between entree and main course or all after main course. It's quite common for the parents to present their speeches during entree and mains and then the bridal party after main course, as to not interrupt food service.

    The order of speeches is generally as follows, however can be changed and presented in any order to suit your needs.
