How long does the band usually play for?
Most couples opt for four 45-minute performances from Birdman Randy & The Ivory St Preachers at their wedding. The band will schedule these performances throughout the night as required. They can also create a custom package based on the time frame of your wedding. For longer periods of time, they recommend coupling the band with an acoustic duo or DJ.
Will Birdman Randy learn a new song for our wedding?
If you have a particular song in mind for your wedding and it’s not on Birdman Randy & The Ivory St Preachers’ extensive song list, they will happily learn it. The band will book in a rehearsal before your wedding so they can perfect your chosen song. This rehearsal is billed at a fixed cost depending on the number and complexity of the song(s).

Yes!
We supply a wide range of PA/Production/Lighting packages from intimate acoustic systems to a large festival style rigs. It all depends on the size of the crowd, indoor vs. outdoor and what atmosphere we're trying to achieve. Just get in touch with some basic event details and we'll guide you towards our something that will work.
Note - If a venue has an in-house system we'll happily use it but we'll want to make sure the system can handle a 5-piece live band.
Birdman Randy has a huge repertoire of dance floor classics. Please review our repertoire list for all available options. If we know a song, we will happily play it for you. If we don’t know a song, we will book a rehearsal prior to your event so we can perfect it. This rehearsal is billed at a fixed cost depending on the number and complexity of song(s).

We understand that situations can change. As best we can, we will work with you to accommodate any changes. If the event is cancelled entirely (wet weather etc), booking deposits will not be refunded. If the performance is cancelled within 14 days of the event, payment in full is required.
We work exclusively with professional artists. It’s extremely rare that after confirmation a band becomes unavailable. However, we are human beings and people can get sick, have families, unforeseen situations can arise. If for any reason the original lineup cannot perform we will find a suitable replacement that meets your approval. If that’s not possible we offer a 100% money-back guarantee.
Of course! We’ll happily look after between-set iPod music at no extra cost. Send through a list of all the songs that you'd like to hear, and we’ll play them during our breaks to keep the vibe going. If not, we’ll choose some music that suits the event. If you have your iPod ready with your playlist, that’s fine too. We’ll take care of it the entire night, so you won’t have to worry about it at all.
Alternatively, we could also present a Birdman Randy DJ performance with DJ decks, mixing your favourite dance floor anthems into each other. Just speak to us and we will give you a quote for the additional performance.

The band requires a dry, safe, level area to perform. The performance area should be roughly 3m x 5m.
This doesn’t necessarily have to be a raised stage, although a raised stage will compliment the performance, presenting a more formal, show-y visual aesthetic. We can assist booking a stage, just contact us about it.
YES! We celebrate love irrespective of the sex. So, call us in and we’ll be there.
Yes! Just let us know prior to the event and we will set up an additional mic for your speeches.
