We take pride in offering a professional and affordable service using high quality equipment.

DJ / MC SERVICES & EQUIPMENT
Your DJ can cater for all music tastes from the 50's to Top 40, while also happily taking requests on the night.

As an all inclusive package with no hidden extras, you can expect:

Professional sound equipment and lighting for the dance floor
A ‘Wedding Format Guide’ to organise your music, times and format for the reception
Consultation in person or by phone to discuss and help prepare the format and music
Quality cordless microphone for your speeches
Your DJ to happily take on the role of MC should you not have your own

You may also like at a small additional cost:

Mood up-lighting for the room in a desired colour to give extra atmosphere
A portable PA system with music plus 2 microphones for your ceremony, if held at the same venue as your reception

I have loved music from an early age. I became interested in being a DJ in my teenage years, starting when I was just 18 years old. I love to see people having a good time, dancing and interacting to the music.

FAQ

DOES A 5 HOUR BOOKING INCLUDE SETUP AND PACK UP IN THE 5 HOURS?

No. We allow up to 2 hours setup prior to the start time and up to 1 hour for pack up so a 5 hour package is for 5 hours of music/announcements/speeches etc.

CAN I EXTEND THE TIME OF THE FUNCTION WHILE IT IS HAPPENING IF NEEDED?

Definitely! Just approach your DJ 15 minutes or more before the end. Extra hours will need to also be paid for at that time.

CAN I MEET THE DJ TO DISCUSS THE MUSIC AND FORMAT?

Yes. You can make an appointment to meet with the DJ and depending on location they will come to you, meet halfway or you may also meet at the DJ’s residence. Due to lack of time or long distances to travel some clients are happy to discuss and organise the format and music via phone and emails.

Peter was great to work with. He accomodated us really well and was always checking in with us and sending the playlists through. On the night he was AMAZING and no one sat down, we were always dancing.

Pete was our DJ and MC for our wedding. He did a fantastic job of leading us through important events such as the entry, cake cutting, speeches and first dance. Our wedding didn't have many confident dancers but by the end of the night, Pete had gotten people up singing and dancing. He made myself and my husband feel comfortable and helped make our wedding night a success!

Peter was DJ and MC for our wedding and did a fantastic job. He provided guidance on what is the "usual" then worked with us to tailor it to exactly what we wanted. He was very professional, kept everything moving smoothly and on time. And the dancefloor was full all evening. The pricing was exceptional too. I would very highly recommend to anyone!

How much are travel fees for wedding bands/djs?

G'day. We're currently tossing up between a city wedding and a destination wedding in the country. Wondering how much wedding bands/djs charge to travel (and if they even want to?) How far are they willing to travel for a wedding? Thanks!

Good Vibrations Mobile DJs

Prices vary hugely from state to state and from 1 company to another. We just charge fuel costs for anywhere outside the metropolitan area in SA Adelaide. If more than 2 to 3 hours away we may also ask for the price of accomodation.
