Ash can offer live entertainment from ceremony ambiance right through to the dance floor party. If you're after solo, or four piece rock band performance or DJ services then contact Ash for a package that suits you.

Ash Gale can offer:

  • Solo, or 4-piece band live entertainment
  • Free wedding music consultation
  • Live music for your ceremony (pre, during and post)
  • Live music to entertain your guests between ceremony and reception
  • Live music during the reception
  • Can perform a wide variety of covers and also originals
  • Learning specific requested songs for Isle, signing or first dance
  • DJ services at the reception including dance floor lighting rig and smoke machine
  • A high quality PA system including a wireless microphone for speeches and MC.
  • MC services available if required
  • A vintage style Photo Booth with door backdrop/Props and USB of unlimited digital photos and video messages for an additional $400

I knew that I wanted to book Ash as soon as we heard him at a Wedding Open Day. His music is fabulous and right up our alley. Ash played before/during/after the ceremony and then turned into a DJ for the night. Ash also played our wedding dance song acoustically. I can't wait to get our videography back so that I can fully appreciate his guitar playing. All of our guests raved about the music and how amazing he was. Ash is also a great person and I enjoyed our meeting before the wedding to discuss our requirements. He is such a great guy and will be looking forward to see him play at another event.

Should we have a band?

We are struggling to decide whether to have a band at our wedding reception. We have the option as it's a friend's band and it will be either free or greatly reduced in cost. Things to consider: - They play exactly my fiance's taste in music - It won't cost much - It will make the friend happy to be included - The friend is my boss - The style of music clashes significantly with our 1930s vintage theme (we are having guests dress to the theme and our venue is also vintage styled) - It's the opposite of my taste in music - Some guests will love it, some will hate it - They won't be able to play our first wedding dance song as that will be jazzy (but we can play this over speakers) What should we do?

My advice is to go see a few bands and then decide. High energy bands are the best. Choose vibe and energy and how they interact with the crowd and each other over how well they can play. Also how much variety they can play. Sometimes you can choose your own songs that they can play. Hope that helps
