A creative business specialising in using Photography and Graphic Design to create Wedding Stationery, with a personalised touch.

Gone are the days of traditional Weddings and invitations. Every couple is unique and have their own stories. I like to create invitations that match the styling of the Wedding or tell a story about the couple.

Save the Date cards are a great way to inform all your guests about a very special day for you and your fiance. One of the best things about Save The Dates is that it takes the pressure off you and your partner to get the invitations done sooner and having a lot of guests ask you about the location and if they need to find accommodation.

I also create traditional invitations, here you have the main card as the invitation details, then a RSVP card which the guest fills in and returns to you like a Post Card, Wishing Well details which also has the Transport or Accommodation details on the back, plus a little Tag and of course an envelope.

We can never thank Emily enough for the love, effort, and commitment she out into our wedding stationery. From the moment we met Emily, we knew this would be the best fit for us. Emily accommodated all of our requests, she kept clear lines of communication with us, and it made the whole wedding process that much easier. Even when we had a minor crisis and Emily was overseas getting ready to be married herself, she still took the time to help us. That is pure loyalty and commitment. When should you send out save the dates ?

Our wedding is 2.5 hours from where we and most of our guests live , and is in the school holidays ... I don't want to give too much notice , but I also don't want to give them too little notice When everyone eill have to travel and book accommodation.

Hi Sarah,

I'm a country girl and love that area, and know that it can be a bit tricky for those guests who might not know the area that well or have family/friends to stay with. It's good that you're already thinking about it before you'll have many guests asking about the date, where they should book accommodation, ect. I often tell my couples to include some accommadation details on the back of the save the date as well, this at least gives your guests a bit of an idea where to look, but also prevents every guest contacting you between now and receiving the invitations.

As the other venders have mentioned it's good to get the Save the Dates out between 18months - 8 months. Especially if you know there might be other events on during Sept next year it's good to get in early. It also takes the pressure off you to get your invitations out sooner than later.
