I have recently moved to Australia and I love all things wedding! Being part of someone's big day is why I love my job! I love stationery and I love creating, designing and making all types of wedding stationery. I have two beautiful daughters that keep me more busy than God wants me to be and creating something beautiful is the ultimate outlet for me. I am easy going and ready to work with a smile. I help brides by taking the stress out of choosing invites by nailing the brief!

Only having children involved in wedding attend. How best do I word the invitations?

How do I word my invitations in a fun manner so as to let guests know that only the 3 children involved in the ceremony are invited to the wedding and reception.

I just had a bride use this wording, you might get an idea.

Due to limited numbers, we are sadly unable to etend this invitation to children who are not named. We hopw you see this as an opportunity to enjoy some adult time, let your hair diwn and that you are still able to join us on our special day.

The first question to ask :

Co workers and aquaintances

Have I talked to this person in the last year - If Yes, proceed to next question : Do I interact with this person outside of work ; If Yes, next question - Would I buy dinner for this person; if yes - would this person make my wedding more fun - yes - Invited; If your answer to any of these questions is no - eliminate from your list.

Friends

Do you have a close personal connection - If Yes, proceed to next question : Does this person know your partners name? If yes, Will they make your wedding more fun - Then yes Invited. If your answer to any of these questions is no - eliminate from your list.

Family

Do you have a close family connection - if yes, Will they make your wedding fun - then invited orAre they someone your parents want there? If parents are paying - Yes Invited. If your answer to any of these questions is no - eliminate from your list.

How much should I expect to pay for a custom wedding invitation design?

It really depends on what exactly your after. Most graphic designers charge an hourly rate. An already existing design may cost less. I have seen sites that charge 20 AUD for the template and then ofcourse all other costs of printing and assembly will be on you. Everyone that makes invites are custom wedding designs, it depends on physical or digital. Best of luck on your search.
