Our Studio is located in the rolling green hills of Sassafras in the Dandenongs, approximately 45 minutes east of Melbourne's CBD. We service Melbourne, Yarra Valley, Mornington Peninsula and Bendigo, as well as Geelong, Ballarat and Gippsland.

Can I look before I hire?

Love what you see online, but you're more of a touchy-feely type? We LOVE having people to our Studio to touch, feel and see our vintage collection. Simply get in touch to arrange a time.

What if something breaks?!

First, don't panic! Sometimes accidents happen. You'll pay an industry standard damage waiver that covers you in the event of accidental breakage. But if a piece goes missing and can't be returned, then we'll send you an invoice to replace it.

Pay 30% deposit to lock in your order, then your balance is due 14 days prior to your celebration. You can pay by EFT or credit card if funds are a bit stretched before the wedding day!

No one likes washing up after a party, so we do that for you. But we do ask that you wipe down all crockery and empty glasses and teacups.

Most of our pieces are one offs and not a uniform size. So we use a lot of bubble wrap and paper to protect your hired pieces in transit. We do ask that you keep all wrapping and packaging so you can re-wrap at the end of the celebration. Let's reduce waste and what goes into landfill together.

A NOTE FROM US:

It’s no secret that we love old things.
But we want more people to value the old.
Old has a story to tell; a comforting warmth; a sense of lasting.
Please don’t get us wrong. We love modern, order, minimalism. Sometimes less is more.
Yet we always find ourselves drawn to things that aren’t so flawless.
Antique, previously loved, recycled, repurposed, salvaged.
Old things carry a character that the brand-new just can’t master, no matter how hard they try.
And when old things are preserved and lovingly used, we gain in so many ways.
Not only do we preserve things that might end up in landfill, we also respect the heritage of a bygone era, giving it a new story and new meaning.
By mixing the old and the new at our weddings and celebrations we see exciting combinations of things that would probably not end up side by-side normally.

We’re a mother and daughter duo who adores old things. Betty May was born from our shared love of combining the old and new, celebrating milestones, Erin’s 15+ years in events and marketing, and Jennie’s experience in managing a boutique period hotel that hosted many weddings. Curators of one of a kind vintage pieces specialising in the tabletop and high teas, we love mismatched craziness; deliciously offbeat weddings; and celebrations that dare to mix eras and styles to #makeitmeaningful.

"Vintage-vintage" or fake vintage?

Everything in our collection is bonafide vintage, antique, pre-loved, salvaged or repurposed.

No fakes No imitations. No wannabees.

Only the real deal.

Because we're suckers for the mystique of the antique.

Hire period?

Our prices include a long 4-day hire giving you (or your stylist) lots of time to set up and pack down (usually Friday to Monday).

If you need more time, just let us now. It's totally possible subject to other hire orders.

How do I order?

Head over to our webste and fill in the contact form with your details, date of your wedding and what you're looking to hire.

You'll hear from us within 24 hours of your enquiry - sometimes sooner if we're not on the road sourcing, delivering or collecting.

Minimum order amount?

We have a minimum order amount of $50.

Orders under $100 will need to be collected and returned to our Studio.

How do I get my order?

DIY collect and return to our Studio at no extra cost or use our super convenient delivery and collect service for a few extra bucks.

Delivery is available on orders over $100 to Melbourne and certain regional locations.

Ask for a delivery quote when you enquire.
