My name is Leah and I started working for Mullumbimby Hire and Sales about 4 years ago. This is my fathers business so I hope to be in the industry for a long time to come; we have spent the last few years redeveloping our business branding and goals. FAQ
The prices quoted to you are for '24 hours'.
However, we understand that most events take place over a weekend and therefore this 24 hours chiarge, covers you from Friday until Monday.
NO - If you break or damage something there will be a charge.
Most bookings will have a refundable bond added to the invoice to cover any damage that occurs during the hire period.
YES – the only exception is linen. Although we pass all returned items through a comercial dishwasher, when items are returned unclean this process can take a lot longer so a cleaning fee will apply. All our items are supplied to you professionally cleaned, wrapped or boxed.
Yes by all means. However please be aware that any dyed or coloured paper decorations such as streamers or crepe paper will stain marquee fabrics permanently. Stains etc. require repair and damaged marquees will be replaced at your expense.
We can only rely on your common sense when it comes to a safe distance or the prevailing wind direction. Please note that we have had damage occur in the past and this is totally the responsability of the people in charge on site. It is always advisable to seek permission from your local fire brigade before planning an outdoor fire.

Hi there. We love the idea of a marquee wedding. Wondering how weatherproof they are, especially for rain but also, for heat. (Can you have air-con in a marquee?)

Hi,
They are essentially 100% weatherproof. For heat, you can remove or open all the side, so you have what is basically a shade roof. We here do not have postable AC units but i believe they are available out in the marketplace. It looks like Kennards Hire have them so you could connect with them.
