I want a spray tan for my wedding, can you match it?

We can absolutely match makeup with your spray tan! However key things we require - Book your makeup trial when you have your tan on/freshly done. Ask your spray tanner to tell you the undertone and brand she will be using. This helps A LOT! Avoiding green based tans is a must.

Will my hair style last the entire day/night?

Yes, yes & yes -- However we will need to assess your hair before and ensure the style is suited to your hair type. A trial will determine the longevity of the style.

How do I prep for my hairstyling?

A trip to your hairdresser 1-2 weeks is recommended to ensure your colour and cut is fresh. Wash your hair the night before your wedding. Air dry or blow dry. Do not straighten or curl your hair before your appointment.

How long will my makeup last?

All our bridal makeup applications include airbrushing which allows it to sit beautifully while lasting around 15 hours. It is so long lasting due to how the makeup is applied.

How long will it take for my makeup to be done?

Our brides get pampered up to 2 hours. Depending on your makeup requirements it may take less time, we allow enough time to ensure we perfect your bridal look. Bridesmaids & guests we allow up to 90 minutes.

What products do you use?

We don't just use 1 specific brand, we have a large range of high-end products from many brands.

What should I do to prep for my makeup?

We recommend getting your hair done after makeup to ensure we don't alter any of the hairstyling and we can easily pin your hair out of your face. Cleanse your face right before your appointment so your skin is fresh, oil and dirt free. If you have any skin concerns seeing a skin therapist for a facial or to help prep your skin up to 8 weeks prior is recommended.

Once my makeup is finished, how do I keep it looking fresh throughout my wedding?

Don't touch or rub your face. If you get an itch gently tap the area with your ring finger.
Do not shower or sweat after.
Keep cool out of sun and heat.
We provide a complimentary touch up kit - Refresh your lips with given lip colour or gloss after eating.
A setting mist or spray may be used - Please let us know as we may be able to provide a travel version for you.
Avoid guests kissing your face before your ceremony and photos. This ensures your makeup to be flawless when you see your groom and walk down the isle.
We are able to offer touch ups through out your "getting ready" period and we offer can offer a "touch up" package which allows your artist to stay through photos and ceremony up to the reception.

When to have a hair and makeup trial

Hi. I was wondering whether I should book my hair and makeup trial before I've booked my artists or after? What happens if you book someone and you have the trial and you don't like it? Can you cancel at that point? Is it normal to have a trial before you book?

I advise all potential brides upon first contact who are a new client that they are welcome to have what's called a "pre-trial" if they're still deciding on their artist for the day. If you have a few potential artists in mind, having a look at their previous work can help determine their style and if it's going to suit you.
If you're booking before having a trial consult the artist about their terms, usually it would be not an issue if you have given them adequate time if needing to cancel. Being sure about the look and style you're after can really help with choosing your artist.

How can I cover up my back tattoo for my wedding?

Hi everyone I really want to hide my back tattoo for my wedding day. I've tried to find someone who offers this as a service. My makeup artist doesn't. Are there any tattoo make up artists?

Depending on the tattoo and placement; covering can be done with colour correction, concealer or foundation. I offer it and layer products as well as use airbrush products to ensure it is "transfer proof" while still looking like your skin as much as possible. A trial would be recommended to ensure the right colour correction techniques. Some clients tattoos and skin give off different hues and undertones.
