Makeup By Emily Ghougassian

I am a fully qualified makeup artist, having received my diploma in 2007 at The Frampton Institute in Queensland, Australia. I studied under Peter Frampton, who sadly no longer runs his makeup school. Peter is a well renowned cinemagraphic makeup artist. In fact, he won an Oscar for Chief Makeup Artist on the movie Braveheart, with Mel Gibson. So I saw him as the best person for me to learn from.

Since then I have decided my heart lies in fashion, bridal, editorial, and events. I have also completed a hair styling course, however due to back complaints I am no longer doing hair, but always happy to offer you any advice I can.

I believe that makeup should enhance what you were born with, and make you feel and look your best. I pride myself on having my clients feel completely at ease and confident in my abilities. There is nothing worse than sitting in a makeup artist's chair, with that dreaded feeling that you are not going to like the work they have done. I know... I've been there myself!

I have 11 years of experience as a makeup artist, and having recently been married myself, I understand the high levels of stress, excitement, nerves, anxiety and every other emotion possible, that we feel in the lead up to our big day. I am based in Brighton, Melbourne, and happy to travel around the state, or interstate if you wish. Aside from being a makeup artist, I am also a model and social media influencer.
