About

I've been lucky to have had amazing opportunities in my 28 years in the hairdressing industry. From exceptional training and working trips overseas I've also experienced behind the scenes at fashion week and on the sets of photo shoots and TV programs. Having made the move to Melbourne 5 years ago, after a break while having kids, my passion for hair grew and Gabby Dunlop hair was born. Focusing on Bridal styling, I get so much pleasure making my brides look and feel amazing on their big day.

Highly recommend Gabby, she worked her magic tricks on my wedding day! She was flexible and made me feel so comfortable during my bridal hair trials. She has such a passion for creating the best hair do, for you, and personalizes your hair until her clients are happy. She shares tips and tricks, and is quite the problem solver! She even made sure of last minute touches on my wedding day (when excitement took over my senses) and I couldn’t have had the calm, pleasant morning of my wedding without her! Gabby has been my stylist for years so there was no question when it came time for my wedding hairstyle that she was to do it. She worked with me during the trial, suggesting the hairstyle that would best suit my dress and I am so happy with how it all came together on the day. Gabby even touched up all my Bridesmaids’ hair just before the ceremony when torrential rain played havoc with our plans. I can’t thank her enough.

Gabby was friendly and professional which helped take the stress out of getting ready on my wedding day. When initially deciding on my hairstyle Gabby suggested the use of hair extensions to get the exact look that I was after. I was so happy with how it turned out at the trial and of course on the day and it lasted well onto the night. My bridesmaids upstyles were also perfect and I had many guests make comment how good they looked.
