I trained as a professional makeup artist in 2008 at Samala Robinson Academy in New Zealand. I have worked as a freelance makeup artist in all forms of beauty/fashion, print, music & commercial video and special occasion makeup. I love doing wedding makeup because every wedding is unique and it is an honour to be part of a very special day.

Working as a professional makeup artist, I am exposed to the latest trends in fashion and different makeup looks. I can do everything from a very soft, natural bridal makeup to a more glamours and edgy look. However, for your wedding day I would recommend the look that reflects your personality, as your wedding photos will be around for a long time and you want to look back and see a beautiful version of yourself in 20 or so years.

I think a trial is always a good idea as you can discuss and try the makeup look and bridal hairstyle you want. This way, on your wedding day you can feel relaxed and confident rather than making decisions under pressure.

During the trial we will discuss all the details of your wedding day such as, location, time, style of your wedding, when you need to be ready for photos, your dress and the look to compliment your best features. We will look at any makeup and hair reference material you may have and then do the makeup application and /or desirable hairstyle for your wedding day. I would recommend to book a trial earlier in the day, so you can wear the makeup for the most of the day and feel how it lasts and looks under different lights.
