I recommend that all 'brides to be' complete a trial before their big day for several reasons. One being that I get to meet the bride before her wedding and get to know her likes and dislikes in makeup. My clients also get the opportunaity to fill in a questionaire about their skincare routine which helps create an all day wearing look. Creating a look before the wedding also saves time and creates a more relaxed environment for all.
I use a range of industry quality products such as MAC Cosmetics, Makeup Forever, Horlotte Cosmetics & Ardell just to name a few. Different products work for different skin types and shades so I've collected products from different brands that I feel work best for each.
A choice of lashes is included in all makeup services. I offer different application types such as full length, half length and individuals. I will discuss the differnt options available for your eye shape to ensure they suit your look and feel comfortable.
As part of the trial process I like to find out what your skin type is and what your daily skin care routine is. These are both important factors in creating an all day/night wearing look. You can feel confident with the correct method and products your makeup will last tears, rain, sunshine and anything that may be thrown your way!

Hello Bride,
I understand for some brides hiring a professional makeup artist may not be an option budget wise but I think it is definately something you should consider having. Professional makeup artists are trained to use specific techniques & products to suit a clients skin type while also achieveing the look they require, whether that is matte or dewy or maybe a combo. There are alot of foundations on the market that can casue flahback or in simpler terms 'ghost face' where you appear white in your photos & videos. You also need to consider the length of time you will be wearing your makeup and whether it will hold up for up to 12 hours or more. And the weather is also something to consider. I now always apply a waterproof foundation for my clients as this not only covers you for tears but rain. If it very hot there are products that can be applied to help reduce facial sweat too but also ensuring your makeup still looks fresh.
I think it is a real treat to be pampered having your makeup and hair done. Less stress on the bride too knowing someone else can sort that part our for you.
