About

Our "lull" began in 2001 when our children started Year 1 at the tiny local primary school and became friends - we met and shared 'play dates', cups of tea, cooking ideas, sewing and quilting!! We both love the outdoors, travel, food, flowers, gardening, natural fibres and all things generated from nature. We decided not live with regret any longer ... and Lull Floral and Events was born as we departed our previous careers. There are certainly no regrets as we love our floral business!

FAQ

Do you provide a full delivery and wedding set up service?

Yes we do. We are happy to deliver the bouquets and buttonholes prior to the wedding ceremony as well as then set up all the florals for the cermeony and reception.

For those brides that are not having a recpetion we also are very happy to provide the bouquets and buttonholes only and for those to be picked up from our studio.

Can we change our minds as to what we want for the florals even after we have booked you?

Yes - within reason!!

Once we have received your deposit and scheduled your wedding you can change your mind regarding your requirements, colour tones etc providing that we haven't already ordered the flowers (usually 4 weeks out from the wedding).

Absolutely “made” my wedding… at short notice too! Sandra and Kate had so many creative ideas like candles for the table, hand-dyed ribbon for my bridesmaids and re-used some ceremony flowers by putting them next to the cake for the reception. They also sorted out a mix-up with the flowers for the cake at the very last minute! I recommend them to absolutely anybody that will listen. 10/10

I can’t thank Cate and Sandra enough for organising my wedding florals! They were so helpful and were prompt with communication. They even gave us the idea to re use the ceremony flowers for the reception, and also to gift the flowers in bud vases to our guests which was well received! Since I’m not getting ready at the venue, do I need to ask my florist to deliver the flowers to the bridal party whilst getting ready as well as the venue?

Hi! We're starting to talk about a theme for our wedding day and we wondered - what are the floral trends that you think (or wish) will be out of style soon?

We love doing a variety of wedding types however there has been a ot of white roses, orchids and gypsophilia this year.

This probbaly reflects that white is timeless. We would recommend doing whatever you dream of and finding the floraist who suits your style,
