There is a lot that goes into flowers, from the 2-3 4am market runs, 40+ hours in liaising with suppliers and back and forth emails to  get the right look and style and the time spent arranging the flowers as well as the set up and late pack down. 

The flowers itself will depend on what type of blooms you want. The lush beautiful and elaborate blooms you see on pintrest are mainly all imports and do cost more than your local blooms.

but remember, flowers can also achieve a simple yet elegant look that doesn't break the bank, used in the right style. 

The one thing to consider are bump in times. Lesser bump in times of 2 hours means more staff need to be hired to set up everything within the 2 hour time frame. This may add up costs for you especially if you are doing eleborate installations or even bridal arches. Many couples don't realise that there is a lot of onsite labour. Some arrangements are best done on site for the reason that it doesn't get ruined during transportation because the flowers in an arrangement do move around and may ruin the final look when being transported. 

Speak to your florist! There are always alternatives. It may mean having compromise on something but something can always be worked out without compromising the look too much.

You may think that after so many events and jobs, things begin to become monotonous. I assure you that's never the case!
