About

I started working with flowers since I was 16 - you can say it is my passion. To create beautiful weddings for my clients is what I love to do the most. Designing bouquets, creating them and then seeing the expression on the bride's face when she sees her flowers for the first time is such a lovely feeling.

FAQ

How soon should we book a florist for our wedding?

As soon as you set the date, booked a venue, it is a good idea to find your florist. Book them in straight away. Many get booked up far in advance. This locks in their services especially for you. Alot of the floral details can be sorted later, so don't worry if you don't have your colours, stlye, flowers chosen at that point.

Can I have an alternative to fresh flowers?

At Unreal Wedding & Event Hire we can create artificial bouquets to keep, or to use as you may have allergies to fresh flowers. We offer a range of artificial bouquets, buttonholes etc to hire as well as reception flowers, arrangements, arbours. A great cost saving but not compromising on quality.

We really need to stick to a budget - can you help with that?

Unreal Wedding & Event Hire prides ourselves on providing beautiful quality flowers, fresh or artificial. Be up front & honest that you only have a limited amount to spend on your flowers. Happy to help where we can and offer suggestions. Hiring is great way to keep your costs down.

Our wedding is only a small get together so don't need anything extravagant.

Happy to accomodate for any size wedding. We won't compromise on quality though.

Are artificial bouquets cheaper than fresh?

In most cases yes - as prices do vary with some flowers it is best to discuss your options. Just be upfront if you are needing to work with a budget. Happy to help.

Tereza was amazing to work with, very quick to reply and just in one meeting knew exactly what I meant and wanted and also gave advice to me who doesn't know flowers at all. Because I had no interest in keeping flowers, hiring was the best option and the price was very affordable! Great service, beautiful flowers, would 100% recommend to everyone.

Any tips on choosing my colour theme?

Choosing your colour scheme is a personal decision.

Some brides make their decision based on a favourite colour or colours and run with that for the entire wedding.

Others will choose by theme or even what is fashionable at the time.

Picking the dresses first will help confirm the style of wedding then the colour scheme.

Florists see many weddings and all sorts of colour combinations.

Trust your florist to help you with options and ultimately to help you decide!

Any suggestions for flowers that dangle, like amarunthus?

Amaranthus is quite unique & it can come in a few colours - you could also try or might like one of my personal favourites - the look of Mollacca Balm (also known as Bells of Ireland) Peppercorn foliage with peppercorns is also very effective.
