And The Veil seemed great to begin with but it quickly went downhill. After paying a 50% deposit and signing documents to order my dress in July, I was relieved that the shopping was over. I was told my dress would arrive in December for my March 3rd wedding the following year. I emailed And The Veil a few days later to ask about the veil I had chosen. They gave me the price and asked if I would like to order one, I said yes. After not receiving a response, I emailed them again in November asking if my veil had been ordered and for an update on my dress as I knew it couldn't be shipped until I paid the remaining 50% which I would be contacted about when it was ready. I was told they hadn't heard anything else and were still expecting it in December. I was then contacted later in November once I had paid the remaining 50% and the dress had been shipped. I was informed they didn't believe it would arrive before they closed for Christmas on the 16th of December but it would be there when they reopened in January. I also asked about my veil again and was informed it would arrive shortly. I called the shop on the day they reopened and was informed it was likely at the post office and I should be able to collect in within the week. As I live 4.5 hours away (which they were aware of) I needed notice to be able to get there to collect it. I followed up again a week later and was told I could collect it the following week. When I arrived to collect it, I was informed they had ordered the wrong size but they would give me $150 towards my alterations to cover having it taken it. I was very annoyed by this, especially when I put the dress on and was told if it had of been ordered in the correct size, it would have fit perfectly and not need to be taken in. I asked about my veil and she seemed to have no idea what I was talking about. After some discussion, I was told they didn't have one in store for me and would have to order one (previously I was told this was already done).

Dress was amazing but customer service a bit tricky. Was told that my dress had arrived so I organised my parents to fly interstate for my final fitting. On our 1.5hour drive there we were notified 20 minutes from arrival that it wasn’t actually there and a courier had not dropped it off. Although they then mailed it to me it was very difficult trying to find a new tailor where I lived that wasn’t booked and my parents were disappointed too. They probably shouldn’t have told me the dress was there when it wasn’t at all.
