Highly acclaimed couturier Rhonda Hemmingway is a designer with a passion for creating perfectly cut, superbly fitted “made to measure” gowns for Weddings and Evenings.
The Couture Process:
* Make an appointment with designer Rhonda Hemmingway.
* Try on different designs and discuss ideas with her.
* Rhonda will sketch the design and working together will come up with the perfect gown for you
* Once you have decided on the design, your measurements are carefully taken.
* A mock up of the dress is created and fitted to ensure the design and shape is correct.
* After the pattern has been perfected, your dress will be cut and sewn in your chosen material.
* Several fittings will follow ensuring a superb fit and finish.
All Rhonda Hemmingway gowns are made in her Darlinghurst workroom and consultations are free and without any obligation.

Rhonda was a top graduate of East Sydney Technical College, she is a true artist, a master pattern maker, the winner of an Australian Award for design and excellence in evening wear and a gifted photographer all rolled into one. Rhonda offers a genuinely personal service and delights in creating the perfect gown for each individual client.

Non-white wedding dresses are actually not that uncommon, you'd be surprised! Many are available off-the-rack at boutiques all across Australia.
But if you've decided to go with some colour instead of the 'traditional' white - it might be best to have your dress custom-made.
Your dress should be as unique as your taste and personality.
At Rhonda Hemmingway Couture we can make anything you like, in any colour variation. From traditional white to blush pink, and even black!
We've also made traditional sari dresses in some mesmerizing colours.

Each gown is lovingly handcrafted by our excellent team, in-house. And all of our supplies are carefully and ethically sourced.

Of course you should never starve yourself either.
Eat a nice dinner and if you're showing up bright and early, eat breakfast after the fitting.
