We welcome walk-ins, but you may have to wait especially on weekends. We highly recommend you to book an appointment in advance. You can either call or email us to book for a consultation. If there is a specific gown that you would like to try, please do ring first and we will let you know if we have the sample gown in your size. Evenings are by appointment only.
We try keep every design in a few different sizes to cover our full size chart from size 4 through to 26. If there is a specific gown you want to try from our website, please check with us whether we have the sample gown in your size, then we will get the dress ready for your appointment. We also always have a lot of new arrivals and unique designs that are not yet updated on our website, so just pop in to have a browse through for your dream dress.
Please do not wear any heavy make-up and we recommend comfortable nude underwear.
Many of our gowns have support already in the bust area so you may not even need a bra for your fitting but it is best to come in whatever makes you feel most comfortable.
Choosing your wedding gown is a huge event. We understand that the majority of brides have several special people who they want to share the experience with. However, please keep in mind that having too many opinions can be distracting and confusing which is something that you definitely don’t want when looking for your dress. Try to choose 2 or 3 guests who know you and your style very well and whose opinion you trust the most.
Our dresses all come in a range of sizes from 0 through to 26.
Whilst we cannot do exact measurements, we will always endeavour to have your dress made as close as possible to your size, and can do half sizes if required to save you on the cost of alterations.
You may still require small alteratios done to give that perfect snug fit at a professional gown alterations person.

Is wedding dress hire still a thing? I don't like the idea of buying a dress I'll only wear once. There doesn't seem to be dress rental around, but I feel like it use to be? Would love some recommendations.

Whilst Emily May Bridal do not rent dresses. There are still plenty of organisations that do dress hire both for wedding dresses and bridesmaid dresses.
Thevolt and Glamcorner both appear to have some dresses. I would suggest a google search of "dress hire" and then look for ones close to you.
It is not as common as the cost involved can start to add up for both the stores and the customer along with the constant changing fashions and lack of ability to get that proper fit as they are off the rack sizes with no changes being able to made.
Other options is to find a dress that you could possible do small alterations to down the track to turn it into a dress you can and would wear again later down the track.
